Dr. Leroy Benons

Business Manager

Dr. Benons is an experienced Operations Manager in the management of VDM Services, a Medical Supply Company located in Guyana and the USA. In managing VDM, Dr. Benons was directly responsible for the operations of the company managing its technological and market advancement with a focus on excelling in customer satisfaction. Dr. Benons previously worked at a number of large Pharmaceutical Companies in the UK and the USA, as a Medical Director. Additionally, managing a large number (>50) of employees to ensure that their needs are being met, as well as ensuring that they each function effectively to ensure overall organizational success.

Mr. Omande Marks

Production/ Quality Manager

Mr. Marks has operated a cabinetmaking business in U.S.A since 2005. With more than 20 years of experience, his work history started with small jobs done with simple tools in a woodshop in Bartica to large interior designer or architect designed jobs with mass production equipment. This gave him a vast and varied knowledge of woodworking. His projects have ranged from boats to benches for schools, to kitchen cabinets, to custom designed interior wood trims and finishes for the FBI and White House and restoration of historic buildings such McLeod Bethune House in Washington DC.

Mr. Gavin Agard

Financial and Marketing Manager

Mr. Agard has extensive experience with forestry and management gained from more than 10 years working in the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Guyana Forestry Commission. As Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Forests (ag), Mr. Agard managed field staff at30 forest stations and facilitated the development of policies for forest governance and land resource management. Along with extensive education in Guyana and the UK. Mr. Agard has over 20 years experience in natural resource management and over 15 years experience in organizational management.
